RailsConf 2009 slides - Rails 3 preview and some great Ruby/Rails style tips

Looks like Rails 3 has just what the doctor ordered. I'm most excited about subdomain routing (we had to write some custom routes for posterous, and it's not the cleanest) and the unobtrusive JS support.

For this next one, skip to around slide 36 and this next deck has a great list of ruby dos-and-donts around Rails and Ruby style and conventions that are often not entirely obvious to people new to the platform.

I admit I have in the past committed some of these blunders. The key is to learn from your mistakes and move on with your life. No more tears!

I am so freaking excited about the Google Reader API -- there are so many cool things to be done here with Posterous

Note : This document is totally unofficial. You should not rely on anything on this document is you need an exact information. Google Reader API has not officially been released. This document has been made mainly by reverse engeneering the protocol.

I love it when you wake up in the morning (er... mid afternoon) refreshed and just filled with ideas. I tracked down this wiki (haha, unofficial api for the past 3 years) and my head is totally swimming in cool things to do with Google Reader.

Do you use Google Reader? I know what I'm thinking of. Your turn: Any cool ideas you'd love to see with Google Reader + Posterous?
